8 Ways You Can Be More Intelligent — Life Long Lessons

1. Kinesthetic intelligence:

If you’re the type of person that likes being in constant movement and playing sports, you have what is known as kinesthetic intelligence.

2. Logic

When asked ‘why is rational math hard?’, do you say, “It’s easy as pi?’. When teachers tell you, ‘you are average’ do you say, ‘that’s a mean thing to say?’.

3. Linguistic

Have your English and Language teachers always praised your writing or do you enjoy writing in a journal? Did you have a diary when you were growing up?

4. Naturalist

It’s time to go back to that biology class. Remember the difference between a conifer and moss? Then you know your plants and are probably more keen to nature.

5. Interpersonal

Interpersonal intelligence is all about looking within. You can learn more about introspection in this wonderful article.

6. Intrapersonal

Intrapersonal meditation is the polar opposite of interpersonal intelligence. Whereas the former focuses on looking within, the latter focuses on others.

7. Musical

Maybe you have a good ear for identifying good music, move your feet to the rhythm of a song, or have a bit of Bethoven’s DNA inside of you.

8. Spatial

Have you ever played chess? Do you find movement fascinating?

So, now what?

Now that you have read over each and every single one of the 8 intelligences, remember that everyone has these intelligences in different proportions. You probably resonate more with some and not so much with others. Whichever the case, you can sleep happily knowing you have your own set of intelligences.
