Everyone learns differently, like Harvard Professor Howard Gardner mentioned in his TedxTalk, Beyond Wit and Grit: Rethinking the Keys to Success. There are 8 intelligences, and like a recipe, everyone has different proportions of each one.
One student may have more kinesthetic intelligence, while another student may have more linguistic intelligence.

1. Kinesthetic intelligence:
